The Hotel Derby is a refurbished mid-20th century building and still presents some accessibility challenges. However, we strive to ensure that all of our guests' needs can be met. If you have any special needs, please contact us and we will do our best to meet your specific requirements.

How can I get to Hotel Derby from the nearest airport?

The nearest airport is Barcelona - El Prat (BCN). The journey can be done by Taxi (30 minutes and approximate cost € 40), Aerobús + D40 Bus (40 minutes to Plaza Espanya and ticket cost € 7.90 per person + D40 bus to Tarradellas-Viladomat), RENFE Train + D40 Bus (Station in Airport Terminal-2 to Sants-Estació + D40 bus to Tarradellas-Viladomat) and cost of the ticket € 4.60 per person) or through a Private Transfer service (contact the hotel to book this private service). The closest metro stop to the hotel is Entença (L5).

Breakfast is served every day in the Hotel Derby Restaurant; and the hotel has Room Service. In the same building, but with direct access from the street, the Santa Napoli pizzeria offers the best Italian cuisine in the area.

How far is Hotel Derby from the center of Barcelona?

We are in the upper area of ​​the city, next to Avinguda Diagonal and Avinguda de Sarriá. The center (Plaza Catalunya) is about two kilometers south.

Is there parking at the Hotel Derby and what is the price per day? Is it necessary to reserve a parking space in advance at the Hotel Derby?

We have our own parking, no prior reservation is necessary, and at a cost of € 35.20 per car per day, VAT included. We recommend contacting previously for large vehicles.

Is there a swimming pool at the Hotel Derby and what are the hours of the Hotel Derby swimming pool?

Hotel Derby offers free entry to the Hotel Gran Derby swimming pool and terrace. The pool hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The pool is not heated.

What kind of breakfast is served at the Hotel Derby? At what time? How much does breakfast cost?

Currently buffet breakfast with hot dishes a la carte, in the breakfast room at a cost of € 24,20 per person, VAT included. No reservation is necessary and it is served every day from 07:00 a.m. to 10:30 am. Breakfast can also be ordered in your room (at additional cost).

Are pets allowed at Hotel Derby?

Yes, we allow small dogs with 15kg weight limit. We recommend booking the STAY & DOG experience online in order to fully enjoy your stay at the hotel. In case of not having this reserved experience, a supplement of € 36.30 per day will be charged, VAT included. Only one dog per room is allowed.

Is it possible to access the terrace of the Hotel Gran Derby without being lodged? What are the opening hours for the Gran Derby Hotel Terrace?

The terrace and pool area is for the exclusive use of the guests staying. The pool hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Are there smoking rooms in the Hotel?

No, all the rooms and interior spaces of the Derby Hotel are Non-smoking. In accordance with current legislation, smoking is prohibited in all spaces within the hotel.

Are there rooms with a Jacuzzi at the Hotel Derby?

No, but Hotel Gran Derby Deluxe rooms have a hydromassage bathtub.
